God’s love, illustrated by the heart, builds a bridge through Christ’s blood and the cross to earth, so we can know the Truth. The background is stars near Orion.

One of my favorite authors had posted a new and seemingly unusual story. It was an 8 minute read so I jumped into reading. My first reactions were continued surprise. A mathematician writing about philosophy and religion? Not really unusual, but quite different from what I had expected.

My surprise kept growing as I read. There was a lot of seeming confusion in philosophical conundrums and self contradictions, typical of philosophy sometimes. I cataloged my thoughts and reactions trying to figure out if I wanted to comment or not, and what to say, if anything.

Deep into the story I came across a sudden insight as some statements there related to real truths from the Bible, expressed in a more precise way than I had ever seen. Deep in this soup of a cloudy story was a gleam, a bright gem worthy of contemplation and study. There amidst the philosophical ramblings from a human perspective was a real gem of Truth.

I started writing about that surprising insight found in a philosophical treatise. How many will comprehend why it sparkled and glowed with great beauty as I read about it? Whatever your background I hope you can get a glimpse of the gleam that is there to be wondered at.
